What Makes You You? (Human Evolution) 2018
Interactive sculpture, mixd-media
Digital Interactive Part: This is an interactive digital piece created with “Processing” software intended to portray human evolution. Players are allowed to move the mouse and push keys on a laptop. Color strips appear on the background as the mouse moves around. Upper and lower part of the body shapes can be dragged horizontally creating a trace of the movement.

Installation Part: Created out of packing tapes, the figures in this installation form the shape of human evolution. The separate upper and lower body opens up the conversation of choosing your identity, in other words, your gene builds half of you and your life experiences represents who you really are.

Project exhibited at Gallery 100, Tempe, Arizona, February 2018.
