To See The Unseen, 2019

Interactive Installation
I draw on the interest in the unseen dimension, presenting them in an artistic way to explore the invisible. I use a brain wave capture device to record EEG data from the spectator, using algorithms to generate data and projecting visual, as well as function a drawing machine to draw an abstract sketch.
Interactors are encouraged to wear the brain wave capture device. The purpose of the interaction is to create a sense of curiosity and rise discussions. As the audience wears the device, their brainwaves will be recorded and direct the robotic arm to draw. The robot will stop moving if no one approaches.
“The creative act is not performed by the artist alone; the spectator brings the work in contact with the external works by deciphering and interpreting its inner qualifications and thus adds his (her) contribution to the creative act.” -Duchamp
